So’s here’s the deal folks. Aja and Lauren are holding their very first contest!!! Woot! So basically here’s what it is:

Rules! It’s a book contest! Cause reading is awesome! Draw a scene or just your favorite character from your favorite book! You can do your interpretation of the character, so if the character in the book is a person and you only draw anthros and such, you can turn that character into an antro. (You don’t have to, you just can change them and such) Just not your character/fursona, cause that’s not what this contest is. And you have to draw a character from a book, not a movie or musical version of a book, the book. (-cough-like Wicked-cough-) Also, no comic books. Cause we love comic books…but we’re talking about booky books…like novels and the like. And you can enter as many times as you want! So if you have, like, a bazillion favorite books, or characters from books, and you have time to draw them all, then go ahead!!!

Voting! Cause if there isn’t voting what kind of a contest is it? The voting will not just be Aja and me, cause we don’t really like that sort of voting. Anyone and everyone can vote! We’ll post a thinger after everyone has entered to show all the entries. Then whoever wants to vote can either send us a note with their vote or just post their vote under the thignermajig.

Prizes! Yes! Cause every contest needs prizes! We will be giving out prizes to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Each winner will get a full color collaboration drawing from Aja and me, of one of their characters (their choice) as a character from a book (also their choice). Deadline! Cause if we don’t end it somewhere, it’ll go on forever!!!! The deadline is Christmas. Like, we wont do voting that day…cause I don’t know if either of us will be online much on Christmas but ya know, we thought it was a good deadline cause its easy to remember, and it gives you Thanksgiving (well for our Americanish folks) and Christmas break to work on your stuff ^^

You can tell us if your entering or at least thinking about entering if you want cause if would be nice if we knew if people were at all interested in this…but you don’t have to sign up for the book you want to do. More then one person can do a book cause, people might have different favorite scenes, favorite characters, interpretations…so they’ll be different. All we ask is that you’ve read/are reading the book you choose.
